Destroy the Enemy's Forces

War Requires Warriors

Warriors Must Have the Tenacity to Overcome Their Enemies

Man's Authority Over the Earth

God gave the first man Adam, authority over the earth and its fullness when he was created.
Genesis 1:26-28.

God made man just a bit lower than Himself and gave to man His authority over the world.
Psalm 8:4-6

Now the earth is not under man’s control.
Hebrews 2:6-8

Satan mentioned that the authority of the kingdoms of this world was delivered to him and that he could give that authority to Jesus if He would bow down and worship him.  This was a legitimate temptation.
Luke 4:4-5

When Adam sinned, he broke fellowship with God and so also for the entire human race. He gave away the authority that God originally gave to him at creation.

 Satan's Kingdom

Satan's kingdom consists of principalities, powers and rulers of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in high places.
Ephesians 6:12

Jesus Disarmed Satan of his Authority

Jesus knew that He would legally reclaim the lost authority of man in His death and resurrection!

Jesus disarmed the principalities and powers, making a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it (at the cross).
Colossians 2:15

Jesus disarmed Satan of the authority He received from Adam when he sinned, and then He gave that authority back to the church!

When Jesus was raised from the dead, He was seated beside the Father.  Far above all principalities and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the age to come.

He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
Ephesians 1:21-23

Jesus is Lord of the armies of heaven and  He fights with the armies of the earth.

The forces of light are far more superior than the forces of darkness and Satan has already been defeated through the cross.

Man's Authority Over This World Is Restored

Jesus didn’t defeat the devil for Himself, He already had authority over him.
Luke 10:17-19

He defeated Satan as a man, the second Adam, or the Last Adam.
1 Corinthians 15:45-47

Jesus represented the human race so that we too could exercise authority over our adversary who “walks about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”
1 Peter 5:8-9

In the light of Jesus’ position in heaven, God raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 2:6

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in me, the works that I do will he do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to the Father”
John 14:12

What that means is that we share the very authority that Jesus has over Satanic forces seeking to harm us!

Authority In Jesus' Name

His name represents His person, His position, His seating, and His authority!

His name is above every name! Every demon force must bow to the name Jesus!
Philippians 2:9-11

The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.”
Jesus replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.
Luke 10:17-18

They have been given power and authority over all devils.
Matt. 10:1

They have authority to tread upon snakes and scorpions and nothing will hurt them.
Luke 10:19

Believers have the authority to bind the strongman and strip him of his armor.

Jesus Has Given Us the Unqualified Use of His Name in His absence.

Jesus’ name will accomplish everything that He can accomplish, without Him personally being present!
"If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.”
John 14:14
Then why are so many Christians sick, depressed and oppressed?

Why are believers losing to a loser and why are they being defeated by an enemy who has already been defeated?

In order to destroy the powers of darkness, believers must operate in the authority Jesus gave them.

David was a king who experienced the power of victory in warfare. He had many victories over his enemies.  He prayed for the defeat of his enemies and God answered him.

Every time you or your family are attacked with sickness, disease, or physical weakness of any kind, rise up in the Name of Jesus and command Satan to take his hands off of you,  your family members and your friends!

If you lie down and do nothing when attacked, Satan will dominate you. That’s what most believers do today!

When confronted with financial lack, oppression, depression, fear, weakness, failure, or anything else that steals, kills, and destroys, rise up in the Name of Jesus and command Satan's power to be broken over your life, family and friends.   No one has more authority in your life and family than you do!

Everyday, submit yourself afresh to Jesus’ Lordship over you, and then command Satan and his forces to back off and leave your family, your church, your nation, alone in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Don’t wait until a crisis arises. Assert your rights in Christ Jesus against Satan today.  Disarm him and take away His power and control, before succeeds in destroying you and your family.

We overcome by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of our testimony.
Rev. 12:11

Because of Jesus, we are already made more than conquerors.
Romans 8:37

David was a king who experienced the power of victory in warfare. He had many victories over his enemies.  He prayed for the defeat of his enemies and God answered him.

The Power of Victory in Warfare

Believers can have can experience  victory over their spiritual enemies.

The strategy in warfare is to destroy and rout the forces of darkness by releasing the angelic armies of heaven.

The warriors of Christ must overcome principalities and powers with the armor of God.

They must take up the sword of the Spirit and the shield of faith to fight the fiery darts of the evil one. Eph. 6:12-18

The source of power is the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.

Life and death are in the power of the tongue.
Prov. 18:21

The words we speak are spirit and life.
John 6:63

Pray and confess God's Word.  God's Word released through your tongue will cause His power to manifest in your life.

The battle has already been won.  Believers have the victory over every demonic spirit through the blood of Jesus.

Watch the video below on the life and tragic murder of John Lennon. It reveals what people will do for money.

There are ordinary people out there who would kill you.  All they need is the right amount of money and the belief that they won't get caught.

Just before he was murdered, John Lennon told Playboy magazine that he didn't want to die at 40.

Ironically the famous singer was gunned down at the age of 40 by a man who killed him just because he wanted to become famous.

Will You Go to Heaven With Unforgiveness in Your Heart?

Unforgiveness is the emotional and mental state of holding a grudge.

Bearing record of wrong doings, and speaking negative words with irritation and anger in your heart to and about another person.

Matthew 6: 14-15
"For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you." "But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."

Jesus made it very clear that our sins are not forgiven if we do not forgive others. If our sins are not forgiven, we cannot enter into the presence of God as the holy and righteous God cannot tolerate sin in His presence.

Forgiving others is not an option if we want to enter into the kingdom of heaven. Choose to forgive whether you feel like it or not and no matter what your thoughts are on the matter.

Choose to be obedient just because the Lord says so.

Pray and ask God to help you to forgive and to be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Change the way you think. Redirect your thoughts from negative to positive. Think about the good qualities that person has. Apply God's word to every situation.

God's word says to pray for our enemies. Bless and do not curse them. Don't slander but speak uplifting, encouraging words about them.

Do not repay evil with evil but overcome evil with good.

Let go and let God deal with them and choose to experience the abundance of peace and joy the Lord has for you.

Watch this amazing video, depicting one man’s death experience and visit to heaven and hell.

He was told by an angel that his destiny was hell because he didn't forgive his wife before he died.

Daniel’s journey to the other side is absolutely mesmerizing!

He comes back to life to tell about it.

What is Forgiveness?

Forgiveness is a decision to let go of resentment and thoughts of revenge. The act that hurt or offended you might always remain a part of your life, but forgiveness can lessen its grip on you and help you focus on other, positive parts of your life. Forgiveness can even lead to feelings of understanding, empathy and compassion for the one who hurt you.

Forgiveness doesn't mean that you deny the other person's responsibility for hurting you, and it doesn't minimize or justify the wrong. You can forgive the person without excusing the act. Forgiveness brings a kind of peace that helps you go on with life.

What are the effects of holding a grudge?

When you're hurt by someone you love and trust, you might become angry, sad or confused. If you dwell on hurtful events or situations, grudges filled with resentment, vengeance and hostility can take root. If you allow negative feelings to crowd out positive feelings, you might find yourself swallowed up by your own bitterness or sense of injustice.

If you're unforgiving, you might pay the price repeatedly by bringing anger and bitterness into every relationship and new experience. Your life might become so wrapped up in the wrong that you can't enjoy the present. You might become depressed or anxious. You might feel that your life lacks meaning or purpose, or that you're at odds with your spiritual beliefs. You might lose valuable and enriching connections with others.

What are the benefits of forgiving someone?

Letting go of grudges and bitterness can make way for compassion, kindness and peace.

Forgiveness can lead to: Healthier relationships, greater spiritual and psychological well-being, less anxiety, stress and hostility, lower blood pressure, fewer symptoms of depression and a lower risk of alcohol and substance abuse.

How do you reach a state of forgiveness?

Forgiveness is a commitment to a process of change.

Pray and ask God to help you to forgive.
Be Transformed by the Renewing of Your Mind.

Consider the value of forgiveness and its importance in your life at a given time. Reflect on the facts of the situation, how you've reacted, and how this combination has affected your life, health and well-being.  Actively choose to forgive the person who's offended you.  Tell yourself that it's not worth the damage it is doing to you.

As you let go of grudges, you'll no longer define your life by how you've been hurt. You might even find compassion and understanding.

Would You Take the Place of This Man?

What It Means To Be Saved

The Original Sin

The original sin is the first sin committed by Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. God told them not to eat of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil and they disobeyed him and ate the forbidden fruit anyway.
Gen 3:1-7.

Wrong-doing has a penalty. The penalty for our sin is death, eternal separation from God.

In the old testament, God required spotless lambs to be sacrificed so that the shed blood would atone for people's sins and God would forgive them.

In the new testament, God provided a way for us to be forgiven without having to sacrifice animals.

God Loves You

God loves you and wants to have a relationship with you, no matter what you have done.

He loves you so much that he sent his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ into the world, to pay the penalty for our sins by taking our punishment upon himself.

Jesus shed his blood and died on the cross so that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16.

Jesus Christ is the spotless lamb because he was without sin.  He was crucified by people who didn't understand who He was or why He had come.

He willingly died on the cross in our place, fulfilling God's plan to redeem mankind,  even for the very people who nailed Him to the cross!

Though He was perfect and sinless, He took our sins upon Himself so that we can have a restored relationship with God the Father.
1 Peter 2:24.

Three days after He was crucified,  God raised Him back to life!

God raised Him from the dead just as we will be raised from the dead into eternal life.

The day will come when all people will stand before God on the Day of Judgment and give an account for their life.
Revelation 20:11-12

It's Your Choice

You can either accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior or reject him.  If you reject him you will pay the penalty for your sins yourself by spending eternity in hell forever, separated from God.
Revelation 20:15.

If you accept Jesus as your personal savior, today, God will accept His sacrificial death on your behalf.

Don't wait because it will be too late on the day of the final judgement to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.

God loves you and wants you to spend eternity in heaven with Him.

He wants you to be set free from your past, from guilt and shame, from addiction and bondage to sin.

If you were to die tomorrow, where would you spend eternity?

Make the decision today to accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior.

Here's how:
  • Come to Him just as you are.  Don't wait till you change and stop sinning. You cannot change yourself.  Only God can change you.
  • Admit you have sinned.
  • Be willing to repent, turn from your sins.
  • Believe in your heart and mind that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died on the cross for you and was raised back to life and that He is the only way to God.
  • Invite Jesus to come into your heart and life and save you from your sins.
  • Receive Him as your Lord and Savior

Pray This Prayer:

“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you.

I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you.

Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again.

I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer.

I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward.

Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life.

In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”

You have received the forgiveness of God and are now accepted into His family!
Ephesians 1:15

You are now a new believer in Christ Jesus!

Welcome to God's family!

Now, as a way to grow closer to Him, the Bible tells us to follow up on our commitment.

"Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."
Acts 2:38

From This Day Forward:
  • Get baptized as commanded by Christ.
  • Tell someone else about your new faith in Christ.
  • Spend time with God each day. It does not have to be a long period of time. Just develop the daily habit of praying to Him and reading His Word.
  • Ask God to increase your faith and your understanding of the Bible.
  • Seek fellowship with other followers of Jesus.
  • Develop a group of believing friends to answer your questions and support you.
  • Find a local church where you can worship God.

I am thrilled that you have made this decision, and I want to be a part of helping you to get to know God better.

Please take a moment fill out the form below if you would like me to send you some free information to help you with your Christian walk.

Is the Bible True?

Is There Any Evidence That the Bible Is True?

Evidence From Prophesy

Precise predictions of future events, (prophecies) have been fulfilled exactly.  Jesus' identity, his name, birthplace, triumphal entry, betrayal, suffering, death and burial - all were foretold in the Old Testament, seven hundred years before He was born.  And Jesus fulfilled more than 300 prophecies!

God's prophet's predicted the downfall of many nations-Ammon, Edom, Moab, Philistia-and cities such as Babylon, Nineveh, Tyre and Sidon.  And not one of them exists today!

Isaiah predicted the birth of king Cyrus, 150 years before his birth, told his name and that he would  release the Jews from captivity.

Prophecy stands as a strong witness that the Bible is true!

Evidence from Archaeology

The Bible refers to the Hittite people 36 times.  No record outside the Bible has affirmed their existence however, excavations in Turkey show evidence the Hittite Empire existed.

Ebla tablets discovered in Syria include names of Ur, Sodom and Gomorrah, cities that Bible opponents say never existed.

Archaeologists have uncovered Assyrian artifacts that record the names of all the Assyrian kings referenced in the Bible.

Evidence from Impact

Unlike any other book written by a mere human, the Bible can transform people's lives, make people good inside, and give them peace forgiveness and purpose.

It gives hope to the spiritually hopeless, life to the spiritually dead and deliverance to the enslaved.

Evidence from Science

For centuries, scientists did not understand the phenomenon that water evaporates from the ocean, collects in clouds and falls on the earth as rain or snow.

Yet Job 26:8, 36:27-28 and Ecclesiastes 1:7 speaks of this cycle.

Several hundred years before Christ, Isaiah wrote about the circular shape of the earth and centuries before that, Job said the the earth suspended on nothing.  Up until a few centuries ago, people believed the earth as flat.

The Bible's Central Message

The Bible is focused on the problem of sin and God's answer.

Jesus died on the cross to deal with sin.  He carried our sins on the cross so that we may have salvation by trusting Him as our Savior.

Because the Bible can be trusted, Jesus can be trusted.  Jesus said "I am the way the truth and the life"  He is the only way to God.  By trusting Him, you can find salvation and peace in Christ.

How to Become a Christian

1.  Acknowledge that you are a sinner.  "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."
Romans 3:23

2.  Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins and was resurrected.

Romans 5:8 and 1 Corinthians 15:3-4

3. Repent.  Turn from your sins and say this prayer:

"Dear Lord Jesus.  I know that I am sinful and need your forgiveness.  I believe you died and rose again to pay the penalty for my sin.  I ask you to come into my heart and I receive you as my Lord and Savior."
